Biography
Throughout the years of my life, I have found myself surrounded by a collection of vibrant and contrasting individuals, landscapes, and situations. Being a rather young individual at just the age of 18, this may not seem at all significant; in fact, it would seem not out of the ordinary in the slightest. However, I have always had a tendency to perceive things in a different fashion.
Born in the city of San Jose of Northern California’s Bay Area, I spent my early years in life residing within an area of cultural and ethnical diversity filled with unique and colorful traditions and personalities blending into and complementing one another. My perspective of the world was then elaborated with several relocations throughout Arizona and eventually Southern California, where I now reside. With each new residence I was subjected to a multitude of varying lifestyles and social surroundings as well as plunged into the stories of the individuals around me and their personal distinctive walks of life. Drawing from these tales and experiences, life and time have constructed my open mind and sense of compassion.
Seeing every obstacle as an opportunity to test one’s merit and believe that everyone, at some point in their lives, must put forth effort and get their hands dirty, I have been influenced by every individual I encounter and the stories that they tell; subconsciously imbibing parts of their personalities to augment or alter my own. Always trying to practice the concept of “paying it forward” I hope that I have also made some sort of impact on an individual’s life.
As an aspiring artist, I utilize my open mind as a tool to allow myself to see the passion and struggles in my surroundings as a source of inspiration, I make an effort to use my artistic abilities to aid others when I can – whether by helping to raise funds for a charity-oriented clothing company, raising awareness of a certain foundation, publicizing a friend’s musical group or company, or perhaps even directly inspiring individuals themselves to persevere in their own efforts and obstacles and to offer a helping hand toward those who need it. After all, we have got to all look out for one another to get through tough times and everyone needs at least some sort of support at some point in their lives.
